I used a uninstaller to uninstall a program taht ran off the gadget bar and unintentionally deleted a few files that help gadget bar to run properly. How can I reinstall those programs or the gadget bar itself?
I need to recover lost files that weren’t backed up or saved. Is there any way to do that?

Make some backups of it. Before deleting some I always make a copy of it first and put them into a cd or flash memory, and whenever I need it, I just put it back where it use to be from the backup.
If you had windows xp or above, then go to the System Restore.
Start > Accesorries > System Tools > System Restore.
